The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) is proud to honor Estuardo V. Rodriguez, CEO and President of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino and Co-Founder of The Raben Group, with the prestigious President’s Award at the 2024 HPRA ¡BRAVO! Awards. This accolade will be presented during the HPRA ¡BRAVO! Awards Gala, an annual celebration of excellence in multicultural public relations, will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, FL.

This year’s ¡BRAVO! Awards theme, “Building Legacy, Together,” highlights the impactful work of leaders who are shaping history and laying the groundwork for future generations. For more than two decades, Rodriguez has been a pivotal force in elevating Hispanic culture and history within the national narrative.

"Estuardo embodies the spirit of service and advocacy essential for driving profound and lasting change. His work has not only ensured that the stories of Latino communities are told but revered," said HPRA President Sonia V. Diaz. "As our community works to cement its legacy of contributions to the United States, it is a true honor to recognize him with this award."

As CEO and President of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, Rodriguez has spearheaded efforts to honor and preserve Latino communities' rich and diverse contributions across the United States. Under his leadership, the organization achieved a landmark victory in 2020, securing congressional approval to establish the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino. His work is a testament to his unwavering advocacy and strategic vision, marking a significant milestone in preserving and celebrating 500 years of American-Latino heritage on the National Mall.

Rodriguez is also a distinguished principal and co-founder of The Raben Group, a highly respected public affairs and communications firm in Washington, D.C. His extensive attorney and strategic advisor career has seen him excel in government affairs, direct lobbying, and strategic communications within critical financial services and telecommunications sectors. His deep understanding of the political landscape and ability to navigate complex issues have made him a sought-after counsel in both public and private spheres.

The President’s Award is a singular recognition bestowed by HPRA’s President to an individual whose work has left an indelible mark on Hispanic culture and representation. Over his career, Rodriguez has been a staunch advocate for Hispanic outreach and empowerment. Notably, he played a crucial role in establishing a Spanish-language media network at the Democratic National Committee, supporting presidential campaigns, and amplifying Latino voices at the national level. His expertise extends across several high-impact roles, including serving as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and as a political analyst for the U.S. Department of State across Latin America and Europe during U.S. presidential election cycles.

The 2024 HPRA National ¡BRAVO! Awards celebrate groundbreaking achievements in multicultural storytelling, public relations, and marketing while honoring those who drive positive narratives about Latinos in the United States. Each year, these awards spotlight leaders in communications who have shaped the industry and propelled the progress of Hispanic and multicultural consumer segments in media, public relations, and communications.
