HPRA Announces 2024 National ¡BRAVO! Award Winners
The organization celebrated the program’s 10th anniversary of recognizing the innovative work of communications professionals who are successfully engaging Hispanic audiences.
MIAMI, FL, [November 22, 2024] - The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) announced the 2024 National ¡Bravo! Award winners, recognizing the best multicultural communications teams and campaigns across the country. Emceed by bilingual journalist and content creator Astrid Rivera, the organization celebrated the program’s 10th anniversary which also honored industry leaders and its 2024 HPRA scholarship recipients. The event took place at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, FL on November 21, 2024.
UnidosUS, the country’s largest Latino civil rights organization, took home Campaign of the Year for its work in advocating for Florida Latino families for better healthcare access. Other big winners included H+M Communications and Boden Agency who took home three wins each.
The 2024 HPRA National ¡BRAVO! Awards celebrated excellence in multicultural storytelling in public relations and marketing while advancing positive narratives about Hispanics/Latinos in the United States. This year’s ¡BRAVO! Awards theme, “Building Legacy, Together,” focused on a decade of excellence in multicultural communications and our community’s collective commitment to forging legacies that will shape the future of our industry.

This year's program also honored distinguished professionals who have championed multicultural communications and diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry.
Journalist of the Year: León Krauze, acclaimed journalist and author, for his dedication to advancing Latino representation through storytelling.
DEI Champion Award: Monica Bauer, PepsiCo Global DEI Officer, for her leadership in fostering equity across corporate spaces.
Pioneer of the Year: Pedro Guerrero, founder of Hispanic Executive, for spotlighting Latino leadership and creating platforms like “The Latino Majority.” President’s Award: Estuardo Rodriguez, CEO of Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, for securing Congressional approval to establish the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino.
Looking toward the future, HPRA also announced its national scholarship winners - each receiving a $2,500 scholarship. 2024 Scholars included Erick Bellido, University of Illinois, Chicago; Esmeralda Hernández, Arizona State University; Isabelle Marceles, Arizona State University; and Amaya Ruiz, Howard University.
