Award-winning journalist León Krauze, Hispanic Executive founder Pedro A. Guerrero, and PepsiCo’s Monica Bauer among this year’s honorees at the ¡BRAVO! Awards gala, hosted by news anchors Jeannette Reyes and Robert Burton.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the highest accolade for multicultural communications will also celebrate its 40th year as an organization.

The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) announced winners of the 2023 National ¡Bravo! Awards, recognizing the best multicultural communications teams and campaigns across the country. Emceed by Astrid Rivera, bilingual journalist and content creator, and Eliecer Marte, journalist, and radio and television host, the ninth annual awards celebration also honored industry leaders and 2023 HPRA scholarship recipients during its event at Chicago’s The Drake Hotel on October 12, 2023.

Celebrating the pinnacle of excellence in multicultural communications, the awards spotlight the vibrant Hispanic/Latino narratives that are shaping the U.S. landscape

Terrero’s iconic music videos, films, and documentaries have reached billions of fans globally, elevating the voices of Hispanic artists and leaving an indelible mark on Latino representation in the industry.

Additional honorees include journalist and author Alicia Menendez and Omnicom CCN Chief DEI Officer Soon Mee Kim for their contributions in increasing representation and positive narratives of minorities in the media and communications industries

This year, the highest accolade for multicultural communications, adds Social Equity and LGBTQ+ Campaign categories, recognizing teams who are creating exceptional work for underserved communities

MIAMI, FL. (August 10, 2022) -- The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) announced today the finalists for the 2022 HPRA ¡BRAVO! Awards, the industry's highest accolade in multicultural communications, recognizing the best public relations teams and campaigns in the United States. Winners will be announced during the fundraising gala emceed by Despierta América correspondent Astrid Rivera and Fox News Channel National Correspondent Bryan Llenas on Thursday, September 29 at the Fairmont Hotel in Austin, Texas.

The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) is proud to announce Astrid Rivera, Despierta América contributor and correspondent, and Bryan Llenas, National Correspondent for Fox News Channel, as the emcees for the 2022 HPRA ¡BRAVO! Awards. Aflac will return for the second year as the presenting sponsor of HPRA’s signature scholarship fundraising gala. The celebratory event will take place on Thursday, September 29, in Austin, Texas, at the Fairmont Hotel.
