Former news anchor and renowned content creator, Jeannette Reyes a.k.a @msnewslady uses her platform to weave the rich tapestry of her Afro-Latina cultural background into all aspects of her work. Fluent in Spanish, Jeannette embraces the beauty of language using it as a tool to connect with diverse audiences. Robert Burton

TV journalist Robert Burton, husband of Jeannette Reyes, joined ABC7 in October 2014 as weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter and began co-hosting Good Morning Washington in 2020.

His sports background started on the basketball court in college when he helped lead Millikin University Big Blue to their best start in years. Graduating early with a Communications degree, Robert began his broadcast career at WAND-TV, moving from overnight news content editor to weekday reporter. He anchored sports for three years at KATV in Little Rock, covering SEC Football to NCAA March Madness.

A Chicago native, he enjoys playing basketball in his spare time.
