Camila Garcia Chirino

University of Florida
2026 ¡Bravo! Scholarship Winner

Born in Spain and raised in a Cuban family, Camila moved to Miami before attending the University of Florida. After navigating the American university system and discovering public relations, she found a field where her multicultural background and passion for connecting people could come together. As President of UF’s PRSSA chapter and a member of Alpha PR, UF’s student-run public relations agency, Camila has developed her leadership, strategic communication and client relations skills.

Her journey with HPRA has also played an important role in her growth. After attending the 2024 Bravo Awards, she had the opportunity to tour Telemundo’s headquarters through HPRA, an experience that ultimately led to her interning with Telemundo during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Through every experience, challenge and lesson along the way, the little girl who once moved from Spain to Miami has grown into a confident, skilled and culturally driven PR professional ready to make her mark on the industry.
